The Twees are a three piece indie rock band from New York. After just forming in early 2009 they have almost half a dozen demos finished and are busy working on four brand new songs for their EP which will be out by early June. Influences range from indie rock bands like The Strokes and Bloc Party to indie pop bands like The Wombats and Los Campesinos!, and the fusion of the two mixes for a very raw but catchy sound.
